Card catalogs
Or, look at all the other nifty ways people have used card catalogs in interior decoration.
I like to channel my nerd when I plan for things, and wow, it just hit me today that a repurposed card catalog would be a pretty awesome storage option for makeup! I mean, all those little drawers; I could have one per product type and/or shade and/or brand! And not just for makeup; with that many drawers, surely I could store accessories, too.
Something like this Ms. Librarian one from Heima, but not so colorful.
A little masculine, but so lovely! And the shelves! OMG.
